Academic Integrity & Malpractice
Our academic integrity policy emphasizes education and proactive support to address academic malpractice as an opportunity for learning and growth rather than mere discipline. Students are guided to meet ethical and academic standards through early intervention and responsible use of technology. Proactive measures include teaching research skills, proper citation, and AI usage before assignments. Suspected malpractice is addressed progressively, with levels ranging from learning conversations for minor first-time incidents to more significant interventions for repeated or severe violations. This approach fosters a culture of honesty, accountability, and ethical behavior, preparing students for future success.
